March Newsletter
Dear Members,
You may have noticed some changes in our website and in the emails you have received from us in the past few weeks. We have changed our IT platform for a greater level of integration of all administrative tasks - and, importantly, a reduced cost. Depending on your browser, this may result in some changes on your end, such as having to rightclick to download pictures. You may also have noticed that you now have the option to create an account on our website. If you are a student with us, or often sign up for events, we highly recommend creating an account so that you don't have to re-enter your details eveytime you sign up. We hope that you'll find the new website clear and user-friendly. If you have any concerns, comments or questions, feel free to contact us at frenchallianceraleigh@gmail.com and we'll be happy to assist you in any way we can.
March will be a busy month at the Alliance. On March 8, we'll visit the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts with a guided tour in French about Female Clothing in the Museum's Collections. On March 16, world renowned Chef Alain Le Nôtre will teach us the art of baking the perfect clafoutis (hint: clafoutis is a dessert.) On March 25, journalist Hélène Crié-Wiesner will present an overview of the French presidential elections taking place in April this year. On March 26, you'll have the opportunity to discover the art of creating perfume with an online workshop that will take you on a Scented Trek in the hills of Corsica. The workshop is also available in French as Randonnée Olfactive. We hope to see you in any or all of our events, online or in person!
