November Newsletter

Hello Members,

November at the Alliance will mark the (much anticipated) return to some kind of normal, with several in-person, outdoor events. In addition to Pétanque and Hike in French - which paved the way last month - we'll resume our guided tours at the North Carolina Museum of Art with a visit of the Rodin garden (Nov. 13), and celebrate the very French Beaujolais Nouveau at La Maison de France on Nov. 18. If you live in the Triangle, we very much hope to see you there. If you can't make it, we look forward to seeing you at any of our online events, as always. Either way, we would like to start this special time of the year by thanking every one of you for helping build this wonderful Francophile community with us. We hope our November events will offer enough options for a wide range of interests and tastes in anything French or French inspired. Here we go:

Le Café

Tuesday 2 November, 10am

Regardless of your level of French, you're all welcome to our monthly, virtual Café. With the right Zoom background and French conversation, you'll believe you're sitting at the Café de Flore on Boulevard St Germain. Really.

Pursuing the Dream

Saturday 6 November, 2pm

Property expert Adrian Leeds is back for another talk about living and investing in France. In this session, Adrian will discuss getting a visa, determining where in France you might want to live, and the steps to finding the home of your dreams. And even it stays there - in your dreams - wouldn't it be fun?

Armistice Celebration
