June Newsletter
There's something oddly charming about these rainy days leading into June. The air feels fresh and invigorating, and the sound of raindrops tapping on windows is like a lullaby that soothes the soul. No rush, the hot summer days will come soon enough.
At the Alliance, we'll humbly beg the heavens to hold their tears on June 10th. That evening, we will celebrate the Fête de la Musique outdoors, at L'Ecole/French School of Raleigh. We are thrilled to invite you to an event filled with bluegrass music that we hope will make your heart dance. If you would like to volunteer for the event, please contact us. We'll need help to set up the event and serve drinks.
On June 15th, we'll follow docent Diane Beckman on a tour about the temporary exhibition "Michael Richards: Are you Down" at the North Carolina Museum of Arts. The tour is in French and space is limited to 10 participants.
We would also like to remind our French learners that Early Bird registration for the summer course ends on June 9th.
Thank you all who participated in our Haiku Contest these past weeks. Results will be published on June 2nd. Stay tune!
