August Newsletter
Dear Members,
August is known for many things, including the dog days of summer, Back to School time, National Watermelon Day (Aug. 3) and National Smile Week (Aug. 5-11). But there are many other fun facts associated with summer’s last full month. National Wiggle Your Toes Day (Aug 6) is catching our attention. Whether you choose to wiggle alone, or join others in a glorious session of communal wiggling, this time of the year is perfect for your little piggies to see the daylight and get the fun-packed workout they deserve. Then comes National Lazy Day (Aug. 10), one of the very few special days you can fully embrace without getting up from the couch. We'll assume there is a valid reason to celebrate laziness - maybe lazy people are more likely to be well-rested? - and plan to enjoy it whole-heartedly. We also made sure that the Alliance's August events provide abundant wiggling room for your toes and guilt-free opportunities to chill out.
