Anne explains: "We were supposed to stay in an apartment with a spectacular balcony, with views of the city, but it fell through so we “flowed softly” in an alternate location - and it was wonderful."

The sturdy fence suggests an element of imprisonment, like a metaphorical cage holding one back. Yet, right in front of this barrier, we see a scene of absolute tranquility: feet kicked up, a couple of bottles of wine, and a half-full glass, ready to sip.
It's as if the spirit of "se la couler douce" has defiantly taken over, turning what could be a restricted setting into a personal haven of relaxation. The juxtaposition highlights the idea that true peace and contentment come from within, regardless of external circumstances. Cheers to making the best of every situation!
