Cooking Class – Ratatouille Provençale (Sep. 9)
Forget the Pixar movie; this is the real ratatouille! And instead of a tiny chef hiding under a hat, you’ll
have Chef
Florence leading
the way, showing you step by step how to prepare this Provençal classic. And the best part? You’ll get to savor the delicious meal you’ve
prepared. It’s hands-on, delicious, and just about the closest thing to dining in Provence - minus the jet lag.
Open House & General Assembly (Sep. 27)
Our annual Open
House and General Assembly is
back! It's a chance to learn more about our programs, classes, and cultural events, while also meeting the people who make it all
happen. You’ll get to chat with Board members, mingle with fellow Francophiles, and maybe even discover your next favorite activity. It’s
also the best way to see what’s cooking at the Alliance (beyond the ratatouille).
Ongoing Programs
Our monthly Walk
In French is
hitting the trail again this September. Lace up your walking shoes and join us for a friendly stroll around Yates Mill Pond. The
conversation is in French, and the pace is as relaxed as the atmosphere - though we can’t promise you won’t get distracted by the scenery.
Back for its second session is Café Chansons - our new casual French singalong. No opera training required, just bring your voice (however unique it may be) and your love of, or curiosity for, French chansons, the classic and contemporary songs that are at the heart of French musical culture.
