February 2025 Newsletter
Happy February! The month of love, crêpes, and cozy vibes... Whether you’re a fan of Valentine’s or just in it for the chance to indulge in a
bit more comfort food, we’ve got plenty to keep you excited this month.
On Feb.16, we’re celebrating La
Chandeleur,
the charming French tradition that’s basically a perfectly good excuse to eat crêpes at any time of day. So get ready to flip, fill, and
enjoy this French favorite with us!
On Feb. 22, we’re gearing up for a Pre-Art in Bloom tour at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Docent Diane Beckman will walk us through a dozen stunning works of art, all handpicked in preparation for the March Art in Bloom event. It’s the perfect opportunity to get your art fix and brush up on your cultural knowledge - all in French.
For those cold winter days when you need something extra cozy, we’ve got a hearty soup cooking class with Chef Florence from Sucre et Sel - Feb.25. Warm up, learn new recipes, and enjoy the kind of food that feels like a hug in a bowl.
If you can read French, you might want to check out this article from the French newspaper Le Figaro, published earlier this month. It highlights the top 50 U.S. destinations for French expatriates. Curious about how Raleigh ranks? Well, surprise, surprise...
And don’t forget! Our clubs are in full swing this month, with meetings happening regularly. Whether you’re into books, films, French conversation, or anything in between, there’s a group for you to connect with. Check out the schedule and join in the fun!
