December 2024 Newsletter
To kick things off, join us for our Holiday Potluck on Dec.1st from 2 to 5 pm. It’s the perfect way to ease into the season, enjoy great food, and be among francophile friends. We’ll also be unveiling our new exhibition, featuring not one, but two talented local artists: Kathleen Hall and Jen Coon. Double the talent, double the fun, and - who knows - maybe you'll find the perfect holiday gift you have been looking for.
Another gift idea this season is a gift certificate with your Alliance Française. You'll find options to gift a French class, membership, or just a $ amount that can be applied towards any offering.
On December 6th, 6pm, Gallery C in downtown Raleigh invites you to an art opening featuring the French artist Fabienne Delacroix. Delacroix celebrated for her "Belle Époque" inspired scenes, paints in a naïve style that captures the elegance and charm of Parisian life.
If you are craving more holiday cheers, be sure to mark your calendar for Cary Sister Cities' Holiday Cheer and Wine gathering - December 5th, 5:30pm. Then, on December 20th, head over to L'École's Winter Market, where you can find local treats and enjoy the seasonal magic.
We hope to see you there, ready to celebrate and indulge in some festive fun. In the meantime, we wish you all a happy Thanksgiving!
