Bonjour June

These days in North Carolina, we’re gently reminded that the world is, in fact, made mostly of water. At the Alliance Française, we’re embracing the season the best way we know how: with good conversations, cultural discoveries, and enough French flair to survive even the stickiest Carolina afternoons. Think of us as your cultural air-conditioning - with better snacks and fewer utility bills.

This month, give your daydreams a French accent and join an online information session on our upcoming trip to Lyon, test your pétanque skills (where confidence matters far more than accuracy), and dive into history - because nothing says American Independence quite like battlefield strategy, international friendship, and an impressive number of wigs.

Feeling creative? Our watercolor workshop is here to prove that watercolor is not reserved for mysterious artistic geniuses. Besides, perfection is highly overrated.  Add great French films, inspiring art tours, and a community that always knows how to make summer more interesting, and June is looking delightfully full.

Whether you’re traveling, staying close to home, or simply hiding near a fan, we’re glad you’re spending part of your summer with us.
