Learn French in Bordeaux
One Week Immersion Trip, March 28 - Apr 4
Welcome to Bordeaux! Program participants are enrolled in a group class at AF Bordeaux in the morning and attend cultural
activities in the afternoon. Cultural activities are conducted primarily in French. The group will be led by Claire
Barthelemy, Executive Director of AF Raleigh.
- For French learners level A2 and up
- Two housing options: Homestay or hotel
- 15 participants maximum

Homestay
A private room with shared bathroom in the home of a host family, located within walking distance of the Alliance's main
facility. The perfect way to immerse yourself in French culture and engage in intensive language practice!
Includes:
- Breakfast and dinner
- Bed linens and towels
- Laundry service
- WiFi
Hotel Adagio
Bedroom for 1 or 2, with mini-kitchen, a 10-minute walk from the Alliance's main facility.
Includes:
- Queen size bed
- Bathroom with hair dryer
- Safe deposit-box.
- Coffee-maker, stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher
- WiFi and A/C
- Access to fitness room & sauna
Group Classes
- Monday through Friday, 9am - 1pm
- 10-15 students per class
- Students will take a placement test before being assigned to a class
Program Fee
Homestay: $2,000/person - includes lodging, classes, cultural activities, a 7-day city transit pass, breakfasts and dinners

Payment Schedule
Payment in 3 installments
1- Upon online registration: $100 non refundable registration fee
per participant
By check only, to the order of Alliance Française Raleigh:

$900 for homestay participants
$1,300 for hotel-based participants
$1,000 for homestay participants
$1,300 for hotel-based participants
Excluded from the program fee are:
- Transportation to and from Bordeaux (to be arranged on your own)
- For homestay participants: lunches
- For hotel-based participants: all meals
- As required by the AF Bordeaux, participants must purchase insurance for the length of the program. It must include repatriation, health and liability coverage
- Incidentals
Cancelation & refund policy:
- If canceled before January 1st - 100% refund after deduction of the $100 registration fees
- If canceled between January 2 and March 1st - 50% refund after deduction of the $100 registration fees
- If canceled after March 2 - no refund. However, there may be an option to transfer your registration to someone on the waiting list.
