Sal's Branch Trail is a 2.5 mile loop located on the northeastern side of Umstead State Park - enter from the Crabtree
entrance. The. The trail offers a gentle stroll through pines and hardwoods, and starts at the Visitor
Center.
There is ample parking space in front of the Visitor Center. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome!
