Ancient Nubia

Ancient Nubia: Excavating Treasures of the Nile, from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, explores the Kingdom of Kush, a major civilization of the Middle Nile Valley. The tour is led by docent Katherine Shen and highlights its powerful kings, royal women, and treasures excavated from their tombs and pyramids by the Harvard–MFA Expedition more than 100 years ago. 

Spanning nearly 3,000 years, the exhibition showcases Kush’s cultural continuity, adaptation, and connections with ancient Egypt.
