Talk, May 68 in France and Europe

French journalist and author Hélène Crié-Wiesner (ex-Libération) gave a talk on Tuesday May 29th to put the French "events" of May 68  into a broader, international perspective.

This revolt-turned-nationwide-strike, which has to be seen in  perspective of a larger world turmoil, transformed France for ever.

This talk at the Alliance was a great success, more than 40 people were there to listen Hélène.

She will again give this same lecture at Duke University in September.
