Sweet, lovely August might just be the perfect month to finally relax! June was hectic with graduations and weddings, July with firecrackers and rain, now we are practically required by law to take it easy: National Lazy Day is August 10 and National Relaxation Day is August 15. If that wasn't enough, there is International Beer Day on August 6. Granted, it somewhat conflicts with National Fresh Breath Day on the exact same day. Fresh mints or Pilsner? You choose. You might also enjoy International Strange Music Day on the 24th - the opportunity you have been waiting for to create your own music - or Bad Poetry Day on the 18th - because, let's face it, not everybody can be Baudelaire. But nothing will ever beat Happiness Happens Day on August 8! What more could you possibly want in a day than unlimited amounts of happiness? As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness.” Here is to more happiness this month:
