Classes in Raleigh and Chapel Hill
Our general classes are courses of 20 hours in a classroom setting of 3-12 students. Classes meet once a week for 2 hours, over a period of 10 weeks. There are 4 courses per year: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer.
General classes at the Alliance Française de Raleigh cover the following levels based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL):
Put your knowledge of French to practical use in our Specialty Classes! These courses are usually shorter than general class programs and focus on a particular theme. Some are designed for beginners, others require some basic understanding of French.
You will be introduced to different themed situations that will help you build up vocabulary and your confidence to carry casual conversations in French. Perfect for those who enjoy a bit more spontaneity or want to complement their general French class with more oral practice.
Our Specialty Classes also include a Conversation Class called "Petite Conversation" with a focus on pronunciation. No textbooks for any of our Specialty Classes!
Guaranteed to deliver, scheduled with an instructor around your time, our private lessons are perfect, individualized moments in your day to focus on, enrich and improve your French in a quiet one-on-one setting. You can schedule a class with a friend or two as well!
Lessons may be held at our Raleigh facility, at your home/office or other preferred location, or online via Skype.
New students are required to purchase a minimum of 6 hours. The curriculum will be entirely tailored to your needs. Depending on your goals, your instructor may recommend to purchase a textbook - not included in the tuition fees.
