Classes in Raleigh, Chapel Hill
The August program starts ONLINE
on August 3rd, 2020
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all classes are currently held remotely,
using Zoom for videoconferencing.
We offer group classes by instructors of native language proficiency.
Our method is conversation-based and focuses on developing your ability to speak in real life situations.
You got it: COMMUNICATION is our focus!
Our general classes are courses of 20 hours in a classroom setting of 3-8 students. Classes meet once a week for 2 hours, over a period of 10 weeks. There are 4 courses per year: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer.
General classes at the Alliance Française de Raleigh cover the curriculums designed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
When the Alliance's doors re-open, classes will move back to their original locations in Raleigh and Chapel Hill.
However, we will keep 1 class per level available online for students who wish to continue online.
Whether your teenagers need to improve their grades in French or prepare for AP/Honors French tests and finals, our experienced teachers will help them reach their learning goals.
We offer private, semi-private and group classes specially designed for high schoolers and taught by Board Certified instructors of native language.
Lessons may be held face-to-face, or online using Zoom, depending on what works best for your student and family.
Teen-aged students are also welcome to join any of our Adult Group classes.
Guaranteed to deliver, scheduled with an instructor around your time, our private lessons are perfect, individualized moments in your day to focus on, enrich and improve your French in a quiet one-on-one setting. You can schedule a class with a friend or two as well!
Lessons may be held at our Raleigh facility, at your home/office or other preferred location, or online using Zoom.
New students are required to purchase a minimum of 6 hours. The curriculum will be entirely tailored to your needs. Depending on your goals, your instructor may recommend purchasing a textbook - not included in the tuition fees.
