Fifty luminous and richly coloured paintings of Bernadette Morris on the walls of the Alliance Francaise.
Vernissage on September 6 at 7:00 p.m.
A new exposition is displayed on the walls of the Maison de France, Alliance Française side. Bernadette Morris, a Franco-American and Carolinian of long date, paints France but not solely.
Luxurious flowers, African silhouettes, still life to bite into, seascapes, a little bit of Bretagne and a lot of Provence…
Acrylic is Morris’s main painting medium. Her signature works reflect her French heritage. She is attracted by vibrant, bright and bold colors which are evidence in her landscapes and still life paintings.
Bernadette has shown her paintings at Sunflower Gallery, Art in the Park and Sertoma Art Center.
She currently lives and paints in Raleigh, North Carolina.
No less than fifty paintings are waiting to be discovered at the Alliance Francaise – and are available for purchase if you so desire. However, you will have to wait until the end of the exposition to take possession of your paintings.
