You can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. You can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. You can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. You can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

In this class, students learn the vocabulary and structures required to:

  • Make comparisons

  • Use time to indicate duration and frequency of actions

  • Ask for advice

  • Give advice

  • Offer and accept help

  • Compliment someone

  • Use present, past and future tenses

  • Use conditional tenses

  • Use the subjunctive

  • Duration: Classes meet once a week for 2 hours over a period of 10 weeks

  • Price: First Registration -  $430 (book included)

                   Renewal - $380  

This course is designed for students who have completed Level A2, or students who tested at B1 level using the Placement Test.
